Bioful Aqua strengthens the fish's natural immune system and activates its metabolism through its fulvic acid complex. By increasing beneficial microorganisms in the fish and in the surrounding environment, it creates a natural defence against disease. As a result, fish protect themselves against pathogens and eliminate harmful substances from their bodies. Bioful Aqua strengthens fish from the inside out, reducing reliance on antibiotics and chemical treatments.

Fulvic acid is a naturally occurring organic compound found in every aquatic ecosystem. It activates the fish's innate immune system, stimulating the production of natural defence compounds such as SOD (superoxide dismutase) — building natural resistance from the inside out.

Fish live in constant contact with the water around them and with the microorganisms in it. Their first line of defence is the mucus on their skin and gills: it traps and washes away microbes before they can reach the tissue beneath, and it is rich in natural defence molecules, such as antibodies and lysozyme, that recognise and break down microbes.

Added to water, Bioful Aqua works right at this barrier. Fulvic acid is taken up through the gills and skin and activates the fish's natural defences: it strengthens the protective mucus layer, increases pathogen-fighting enzymes and reduces the damaging effects of disease and stress.

This protection starts at the incubation stage. Fulvic acid binds to the egg cell wall and acts as a natural disinfectant against viruses and bacteria at the most critical phase, for a higher hatch rate, stronger larvae and fewer early losses.
